“For the Psychodrama group, we tend to focus on exploration of various emotions; it may range from ones the clients feel comfortable feeling, to emotions that they may feel uncomfortable sitting with. The goal of each group is to reenact the clients’ thoughts and feelings, and to bring them to life through the support of those who are part of the group (acting crew). It is always interesting to see how each client brings their emotions and thoughts to life, and it being more real for each individual as they practice being vulnerable with their peers. As this group continues, the hope is that the clients can continue to feel heard, understood, seen and accepted by their peers.”
