Allyson Smith
Allyson was raised in the Bay Area of California in a family with four brothers. She enjoys nature, hiking, yoga, reading and traveling. She received a Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in the summer of 2007 in Marriage, Family, and Human Development, with a minor in Nutrition. Allyson started working as a residential staff member in Utah at Fulshear’s sister program, New Haven, in 2007 and became a lead supervisor there in 2009. She then moved to Texas in 2013 to be Fulshear’s Residential Director, was soon later the Program Director, and is now the Executive Director. She loves and looks forward to interacting and working with the clients and staff each day. Allyson excels in helping clients create deep change in the way they see themselves, others and the world. She is an example of Fulshear’s relationship model and how we balance love with healthy limits. As Executive Director, Allyson enjoys building and empowering collaborative and creative teams as we all work together to heal attachment wounds with the families and clients we treat.
