Prior to medical school, Dr. William Bunn was a full-time English instructor and was a Meyhew Teaching Award Finalist. He continues his passion for teaching and writing with publications in the area of doctor-patient communications and medical education. His psychiatry training was at the University of Utah, where he received outstanding Junior and Senior Resident Awards and the Arnold P. Gold Foundation for Humanism and Excellence in Teaching. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is an Adjunct Clinical Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Utah, School of Medicine. Dr. Bunn takes a conservative approach to medication management and supports evidence-based use of natural supplements.
