Brooke Gomes, LPC
Brooke graduated from West Virginia University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. After graduation, she lived in Angola, Africa where she taught at an international school for four years. She then moved to Houston, Texas in 2014 where she continued her work educating young minds in early childhood as a teacher and progressing to an Education Director then finally a Director. Brooke received her Master’s of Arts in Counseling at Houston Christian (Baptist) University. Shortly after, she completed a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Capella University as well as a Play Therapy certificate. Brooke worked in the industry of ABA for two years as a RBT and was promoted to become the operations manager. At Fulshear, she is excited about the opportunity to expand her experiences in play to adults and their families by helping them remember the healing power of fun and togetherness.
Brooke enjoys spending time with her family by making memories and having lots of fun. Exercise continues to be an important part of her life as she feels the mind and body are connected when it comes to striving to optimal health.
