Education, University of Houston, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, where she is gaining a comprehensive understanding of psychological theories, research methods, and human behavior. Her coursework includes Developmental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, and more, providing her with a solid foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of psychology.
With over a decade of experience teaching middle school and serving as a counselor, Kendra believes that individuality is the best way to teach and learn. This philosophy guides her approach to education and psychology, emphasizing the unique needs of each young person she works with.
She is currently working as a Life Skills Specialist at the Apartments, where she supports individuals and groups in maximizing their potential. Her work focuses on developing essential life skills, such as healthy habits, managing personal space, meal planning and preparation, education, employment, resume writing, budgeting, and time management skills.
As a wife and mother, Kendra adopts a nurturing yet stern approach, which further informs her understanding of developmental psychology. This education and experience equip her with critical thinking and analytical skills, preparing her for a career in coaching, counseling and mental health.
